Christmas in MermaidLand

Like most people in America and most other places, we decorate a christmastree for christmas, nothing weird about that. The weird part for you Yanks is, that instead of borring little lamps, we actually put real candles on the tree... We not only put them on, but we light them as well... This is a very pretty sight, and funny enough, no houses have burned down yet...

Another tradition note:
Like you Yanks have the picles traditon, we instead eat a ricepudding desert. In that desert an almond is hidden, whoever gets the almond first, gets an extra present - obviesly!!!

It's scary

I think I need to explain the danish concept "christmas lunch":
First of all, its mostly at night, so it has nothing to do with lunch, but the name seem to stuck... Second of all, the rules are extreemly simple. You eat and drink until you can't take it anymore and go home...
Now if you look at the picture, you see an example of two people who have focused more on the drinking than the eating part!!!

The map of proof

After looking at Ronald Reagans map of the world, I found out the strangemaps also had a map of "a part of Denmark" - no this is not all of it...but to be honest - its actually only Copenhagen you can't see...
The funny part of this, showes the parts of Germany that use to be part of Denmark, and here is the proof - WE SUCK IN WAR...

Friends sick of Lego's as well

I'm not the only person who felt the need to see London over new years. Because of my experience with too much Diet Coke, I thought it would be a good idea to bring a nurse, just in case!!!
Now, the mermaid and the nurse alone in London, is a good idea, if you think watching paint dry is funny, so we decided to bring a fashion policeman/guide/guy to keep us out of trouble!!!
December 30th all three of us will be there...

To be continued...

Sick of Lego's

Another random thought:

If everything goes well I will pass my first semester in January. But I'm not the kind of person, who would spent the entire Christmas-brake studying...
So, woman of action, booked a flight to spent her new years in London - because why not...
The only reason why I shouldnt no it, is money, and think of it -> You have your whole life to make money to decrease the poor financiel situation you've put yourself in -> in other words, to earn all the money you've spent at the bar... Sad - in a way....

MySpace vs. Facebook

Alright people... Here is some random thourghts...

Apparently you NEED to own either or Myspace or a Facebook account - if not - do not plan to ever talk to your overseas-friends ever again!!!

I have owned a myspace account since summer 06 - opinion:
- People use way too much time decorating their myspace - seriously!!!

Now, I have only owned a Facebook account since november 06 and I have already more "friends" in my database!
Reason: I dont have a clue, but I guess it means that more people have Facebook

Now, as a coming teacher here are the grades:
Myspace - 7
Facebook - 8
An actual phonecall or a personal e-mail - 10 (winner)
