Back on the blog

I was looking at a Danish news site, and they opened a public debate about which 23 players should go to the world cup for Denmark, and that inspired me to do my own list.

Goalkeepers:
1. Thomas Sørensen, Stoke
2. Stephan Andersen, Brøndby
3. Brian Jensen, Burnley

Defenders:
4. Daniel Agger, Liverpool
5. Simon Kjær, Palermo
6. Per Krøldrup, Udinese
7. Micheal Lumb, Zenit
8. Lars Jacobsen, Blackburn
9. Micheal Silberbauer, Utrecht
10. William Kvist, FCK

Midfielders:
11. Christian Poulsen, Juventus
12. Jacob Poulsen, AGF
13. Johan Abselonsen, OB
14. Christian Eriksen, Ajax
15. Leon Andreasen, Hannover 96
16. Thomas Kahlenberg, Wolfsburg
17. Martin Jørgensen, AGF
18. Søren Rieks, Esbjerg

Strikers:
19. Niklas Bendtner, Arsenal
20. Søren Larsen, Duisburg
21. Rajko Lekic, Silkeborg
22. Peter Løvenkrands, Newcastle
23. Micheal Krohn-Dehli, Brøndby

As you will see I have NO space for Dennis Rommedahl, Jesper Grønkjær and Jon Dahl Tomasson. No offense guys, but there is other players who will provide experience, and new players to provide skill.

I would say you're going to struggle to score goals with Bendtner there.
